MARK RUSSELL

Senior Vice President of Business Planning & Analysis

Mark Russell is Senior Vice President of Business Planning and Analysis, with responsibility for the development and execution of financial, operational and modernization strategy for Progress Rail.

Mark has worked for Progress Rail for over 30 years, holding positions as an accounting manager, ERP system implementation manager, and division and business unit controller. Throughout his career, he has worked on several acquisitions and their integration, including relocating to the United Kingdom to manage and integrate a trackwork manufacturing operation that Progress Rail acquired. Mark began his career at Parker Hannifin, where he worked in both Lexington, Ky., and Dekalb, Il., holding roles in in general accounting, warehouse inventory system implementation, and as a plant controller.

Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Eastern Kentucky University.
