KELLY RONEY

Senior Vice President of Corporate Services & Chief Compliance Officer

Kelly Roney is senior vice president of corporate services and chief compliance officer for Progress Rail. In this role, she has global responsibility for the people functions for the company, including oversight of risks, regulatory compliance and management systems, staffing, development, and strategic planning.

Kelly joined Caterpillar in 2012 as a corporate counsel in Albertville, Ala., providing legal support to the company’s Rail Division, and later transitioned to vice president of corporate services for Progress Rail. Kelly previously worked in private legal practice in Birmingham, Ala., supporting clients in general corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and real estate

Kelly attended the University of Alabama where she received a bachelor’s degree in Finance, cum laude, in 2001 and a J.D., cum laude, in 2008.

She and her family reside in Scottsboro, Ala.
