Greg Dalpe is executive vice president of freight car services, with responsibility for freight car, wheels/axles/bearings/parts, recycling and leasing for Progress Rail.

Greg has 20 years of transformational leadership experience across industrial manufacturing segments. Prior to joining Progress Rail, he spent a decade in various leadership roles in operations, sales and marketing at Knorr-Bremse (KB). Before KB, he worked in private equity, leading operations and quality with Davis-Standard, Kenney Manufacturing and SMTC Manufacturing.

Greg holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Rhode Island College in Providence, R.I., and a master’s degree in operations design and leadership from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Mass. He is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. As a civic and philanthropic volunteer, Greg is an executive board member of The Children’s Home of Jefferson County, N.Y.
