Matt Loomis is Chief Financial Officer for Progress Rail, with a focus on strategic planning and services growth, financial reporting and analysis, decision support activities, and compliance.

Matt began his career at PwC before joining Caterpillar, where he held a variety of finance leadership roles supporting both the Resource Industries and Construction Industries segments. Most recently, Matt served as locomotive controller for Progress Rail,acting as a key partner to the locomotive business and delivering strong financial insight, operational understanding, and a track record of thoughtful, collaborative support.

Matt holds a master’s degree in accounting from Bradley University.
