The Train Inspection System (TIS) Checkpoint from Progress Rail provides a common software and platform. The platform has a modular design that allows integration of a number of different subsystems such as FUES-EPOS, DED, HWL, ARGOS, RFID, MIRA and other subsystems. The various train inspection systems of the TIS checkpoint are operated individually or in a checkpoint, depending on the site requirements. In addition, this system includes an integrated communication module that allows to connect several types of SCADA systems such as RAD-X. The system includes a secure communication protocol, which allows a connection to central customer monitoring systems.
