Progress Rail Showcases Lifecycle Customer Solutions at Railway Interchange

 Minneapolis, MN – Progress Rail, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Caterpillar Inc., has unveiled an interactive, complete rail ecosystem experience at Railway Interchange, the largest railway exhibition and technical conference in North America, taking place this week at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The experience has been created to offer customers a realistic view of Progress Rail’s extensive rolling stock and infrastructure solutions – for customers at work in the yard, shop or on the track. The application will be available to help customers navigate their product, technology and service requirements, including modernization and overhaul efforts.

While at the show, the company also strengthened its commitment to developing and bringing to market advanced rail technologies, including battery power for switcher locomotives and drop-in power replacement, train automation and locomotive electronics to further optimize rail operations.
