We are one of the leading suppliers for Wayside Train Monitoring Systems, which includes hot box and hot wheel detection systems, wheel impact load detectors, weigh in motion systems, acoustical detection systems and many more. We have globally more than 1,900 installed systems. The location of Progress Rail Inspection & Information System is part of the European signaling group “ECM” and specialized in designing and manufacturing Wayside Train Monitoring Checkpoints.
Our Wayside Train Monitoring System does include the state of the art hot box and hot wheel detection systems type FUES EPOS. The FUES EPOS is approved and in operation by many railways, like DB, SBB, RFI and Network Rail. Like all of our products is the FUES EPOS based on a modular system. The development of our Checkpoint is focused to ensure the best functionality, highest flexibility, future proof while allowing limited track time and reduced LCC. Our Checkpoint products are available for different rail gauges and or environmental conditions. Our Checkpoints are operational in all climatic regions, which does include the polar circle and the desert.
All of our Checkpoints can be combined with our RAD-X display and management system. Our RAD-X System is offering the support of active train and alarm handling, in addition, the active handling of systems themselves and the predictive and preventive features for planning the repair of rolling stock units, based on acoustical data (TIS ADD). Of course can the RAD-X system be combined, with our RAD-X mobile App.
Within our portfolio are we offering certified safety-related products, like our MIRA System. MIRA is a safety system protecting level crossings. Using the MIRA makes the railway operation more secure and the interface of railway and normal transport, which is the level crossing. MIRA is certified according to Cenelec SIL-4.
Progress Rail Inspection and Information Systems in Germany, includes engineering and operations teams. Our production is at the ECM facility in Italy, intended to ensure the highest quality standard.
