1. Completion of an application
Fill out the online application for the job that matches your skills, experience, and interest. Resumes may be attached to your application if you choose. However, resumes mailed, e-mailed or hand-delivered to Progress Rail, or any employee will not be considered. Once you submit your online application, our Talent Acquisition Team will review it. 2. Interview
Some qualified applicants may be selected for a telephone or in-person interview. This step of the process includes comprehensive interviews that assess your experience and qualifications, and we will answer any questions you have regarding employment at Progress Rail. Depending on the job, you may also be asked to demonstrate your ability to perform certain critical, core responsibilities of the job.

3. Background check
As part of our process, you may be invited to undergo our background check. In addition, your work references may be contacted to verify information regarding past employment.

HEALTH CARE

Our health care plan provides comprehensive, affordable medical coverage through a network of physicians, hospitals and other providers. Coverage at most facilities includes dental and vision care for employees and their families. Our health care plan is designed to fit individual needs, provide access to healthcare choices, and provide preventive coverage to all employees.

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)

Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides professional assistance in addressing personal problems that may affect your health, job and well-being. This confidential, voluntary service is offered free of charge to employees and their dependent family members. Information, counseling and referrals are available to address work-life issues such as depression, anxiety, marital and relationship problems, alcohol and drug abuse, work performance issues, child care and elder care needs, identity theft support and legal and financial problems.

FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS (FSA)

Employees may set aside pre-tax dollars in a Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to pay for eligible health care expenses not covered by the health plan. This includes items such as deductibles, co-insurance, contact lenses and vision care, prescription drugs, co-pays, dental treatment and orthodontic care.

DEPENDENT CARE

A dependent care FSA can be used to pay for eligible dependent care expenses such as daycare for a child, home care for a dependent parent or special care for physically handicapped dependents.

LIFE INSURANCE

Life Insurance and AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to employees, with supplemental, dependent life, long-term and short-term disability insurance available at group rates.
