LOCOMOTIVE SERVICES
We set the pace in diversified locomotive services, with locomotive rebuilding and repair facilities spanning the globe. In the United States, this includes Patterson, Georgia; Mayfield, Kentucky; and Tacoma, Washington. From wreck repairs, painting, rewiring, retrofitting or rebuilding to maintenance and Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) inspections, our stateside locations can ensure your fleet stays rolling. Mayfield is also the Progress Rail locomotive engine remanufacturing Center of Excellence, delivering the highest quality OEM standards for all emission tiers of EMD® engines.
LOCOMOTIVE PARTS & COMPONENTS
We employ a systems approach to product design, development, testing, manufacturing and packaging to ensure our EMD® parts provide long-term, dependable service. Our products are designed to meet the toughest applications, from extreme temperatures and altitudes, to high load demands. Advanced techniques, such as automated assembly and torque equipment, electronic profile and contour verification and daily metallurgical testing, are incorporated throughout the manufacturing process.

NATURAL GAS SOLUTIONS
Progress Rail has developed two natural gas solutions to help our customers lower operating costs and reduce emissions. Dynamic Gas Blending (DGB) is a dual-fuel technology allowing for the seamless transition between using diesel or natural gas. Direct Injected Gas offers exceptional savings with a more than 95 percent substitution rate with the same horsepower and transients as a diesel engine.
