We are one of the leading suppliers for Wayside Train Monitoring Systems, which includes hot box and hot wheel detection systems, wheel impact load detectors, weigh in motion systems, acoustical detection systems and many more. We have globally more than 1,900 installed systems. The location of Progress Rail Inspection & Information System is part of the European signaling group “ECM” and specialized in designing and manufacturing Wayside Train Monitoring Checkpoints.
Our Wayside Train Monitoring System does include the state of the art hot box and hot wheel detection systems type FUES EPOS. The FUES EPOS is approved and in operation by many railways, like DB, SBB, RFI and Network Rail. Like all of our products is the FUES EPOS based on a modular system. The development of our Checkpoint is focused to ensure the best functionality, highest flexibility, future proof while allowing limited track time and reduced LCC. Our Checkpoint products are available for different rail gauges and or environmental conditions. Our Checkpoints are operational in all climatic regions, which does include the polar circle and the desert.
All of our Checkpoints can be combined with our RAD-X display and management system. Our RAD-X System is offering the support of active train and alarm handling, in addition, the active handling of systems themselves and the predictive and preventive features for planning the repair of rolling stock units, based on acoustical data (TIS ADD). Of course can the RAD-X system be combined, with our RAD-X mobile App.
Within our portfolio are we offering certified safety-related products, like our MIRA System. MIRA is a safety system protecting level crossings. Using the MIRA makes the railway operation more secure and the interface of railway and normal transport, which is the level crossing. MIRA is certified according to Cenelec SIL-4.

ASSET PROTECTION
From protecting the ties and track to other high-value assets. Progress Rail is able to take the guesswork out of designing asset protection solutions to meet customer needs. These systems are delivered as standalone systems or integrated into existing CTC systems. We also offer the latest in crossing recorders and monitoring, as well as Onsite – central management software to remotely monitor crossings.

FUES EPOS
With the FUES EPOS (Easy Pull-Out System) Hot Axle Box and Hot Wheel Detector (HBD), bearings, wheels, and brakes can be reliably measured on the track and analyzed.
In-Tie Dragging Equipment Detector
Improves ballast and track conditions at DED locations by eliminating the need for gauge plates, repositioning of ties and allowing for efficient ballasting and tamping operations around the detector.
Micro Hot Bearing Detector
Inspects passing trains for bearing defects to prevent derailments and costly infrastructure damage. Able to alert authorities to potential problems before they slow productivity.
Micro Talker
Working in tandem with defect detection equipment, the Micro Talker monitors one or two tracks and reports real-time data to help reduce and eliminate derailments and increase overall safety.
MicroScanIR
MicroScanIR's compact configuration fits into a 10-inch tie space and meets AREMA standards for rail-mounted hardware. One person can install it easily.
MIRA Level Crossing Detection
MIRA incorporates proven technology from previous versions, as well as the latest innovations and customer requirements to ensure safe rail transport.
Obstacles Fall Detector
A nonintrusive, stand-alone system that monitors the track to detect objects falling from bridges, viaducts and tunnel entrances allowing the safe passage of trains.
