Expanding Product and Service Offerings with New Fuel Saving Solutions
October 5, 2015—Progress Rail Services Corporation, a Caterpillar company, has acquired Haynes Corporation, a manufacturer of precision diesel fuel injection systems for heavy duty engines.
Progress Rail President and Chief Executive Officer Billy Ainsworth said, “We are pleased to have Haynes join the Progress Rail family. This acquisition is a good strategic fit to expand our offering of locomotive OEM service parts, as Haynes Corporation focuses on high quality, innovative solutions that help meet and exceed EPA expectations for emissions while generating fuel savings.”
Haynes Corporation products include fuel injection pumps, injector assemblies, nozzle assemblies, delivery valves, plungers and barrels, electronic injectors and contract manufacturing.
