Senior Vice President of Global Rolling Stock Sales, Technology & Marketing
Paul Denton is senior vice president of global rolling stock sales, technology, and marketing, with responsibility for the company's locomotive and freight car sales team, analytics and advanced rail product strategy, and marketing.
Paul started his career in the power generation industry, working for Williams Power Corporation. During his ten years at the company, he held positions as project manager, operations manager, and business development manager. In 1994, Paul joined BARCO Display Systems as an account executive, an international provider of high-end electronics for avionics, air traffic control, C4I and medical imaging. Paul joined GE Transportation in 2000, where over his 12 years of service, he held sales and leadership positions of increasing responsibility, culminating in his appointment as director of global sales for the newly formed software and optimization solutions business. Paul joined Progress Rail in 2013.
Active in several community service organizations, Paul participates in local events such as Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Festival of Trees and Habitat for Humanity. He is also a board member of Atlanta Young Audiences, a national organization that promotes arts for education.
Paul holds a bachelor’s degree in Operations Management from the University of Georgia. He and his family reside in Atlanta, Ga.
