Cab

The large roomy cab is totally enclosed with 99.5 cubic feet of space. A wide front windshield allows unobstructed viewing of the boom operation through the full range of motion.

Hydraulics

Dual hydraulic propel motors provide quicker response and faster indexing at the job site. Each of the two individual and independent motors drives a single 3 inch axle though a #100 roller chain drive. Both motors are easily accessed from above at ground level for adjustments and maintenance.

The GV 12 Heavy Duty Rotator provides capacity to handle loads at full lifting capacity with trouble free operation. The direct drive hydraulic rotator eliminates mechanical drives and requires no adjustment and no maintenance.

The swivel is mounted above the upper deck for easy access. Rated for 6,000 psi, the commercial grade swivel will give many years of leak-free trouble-free service.

Upper Deck

The upper deck is a full 8 feet, 5 inches wide for easy open access to all components. Upper deck is covered by formed plate and includes a built-in counterweight. Tail swing is at a minimum.

Base

Ultra-wide 32 inch spread base root boom mount for added strength. Oversize pins and extra heavy bosses add ruggedness and reliability.

Engine

The standard powerplant for the 12-12 is a powerful 127 horsepower turbocharged diesel engine. A pressure compensated hydraulic pump is direct coupled to the engine. Other engines are available. Self-explanatory controls and full instrumentation is reassuring to new operators. The easy operation requires a minimum of new operator training.

Stack Valves

Hydraulic manifold-type stack valves provide superior serviceability with easily replaced solenoids and cartridges. All valves are easily accessible on upper deck.
