Railroad MOW Equipment
All-Track & Kershaw Equipment Division
Our maintenance-of-way division, Kershaw, was born out of the movement toward mechanization in the railroad industry in the 1940s. Kershaw introduced the first Ballast Regulator in 1945 and was the first company to manufacture several other MOW machines now used on the railroads of the world. Kershaw became part of the Progress Rail family in 1998.
Today, Kershaw is a worldwide supplier of maintenance-of-way equipment, supplying machines to all of the Class I railroads, most transit lines and short lines, and many contractors around the globe.
