The products and services we provide are primarily focused on the track structure and the maintenance of the track structure. Under the E&TS Business Unit there are seven divisions which supplies special trackwork, rail & OTM, signals, rail welding, MOW Equipment and relay/used track products.

Progress Rail Services is a leading supplier of Rail and Other Track Material for the Class 1 and Shortline Railroads, Railroad Contractors, Transit Authorities and Industries in North America. With our strategic locations we can deliver your Rail & OTM quickly and economically.
Special Trackwork
The Trackwork Division provides, component parts and complete assemblies of track products used by the Heavy Haul, Shortlines and Transit Railways. The highest quality and fastest lead-times are ensured by 4 strategically located facilities in North America using state-of-the-art CNC equipment.
Signals & Communication
The Signal Division provides Engineering from site surveys to the completed design, manufacturing, installation and contract maintenance of centralized traffic control systems and crossing warning devices. This division has 4 facilities strategically located in the US.
Rail Welding
Chemetron provides the latest technology in its DC In-track Welders with 180 ton pullers, Plant Rail Welding in 7 locations and a full line of equipment for welded rail transportation, loading and unloading.
Relay/Used Material
The Albertville, AL Relay Shop specializes in providing the most economical trackwork turnouts and component parts by remanufacturing used parts in combination with new materials.
Railroad MOW Equipment
The MOW Equipment Division is a worldwide provider of railway equipment and parts used for the construction and maintenance of the railroad tracks. It has the Engineering support to provide the equipment that meets and exceeds your special requirements.
Vegetation Control Equipment
Kershaw, a division of Progress Rail Services provides a full line of vegetation control equipment, including new state-of-the-art rubber-tired Klearway Brushcutters, Generation II CAT powered Sky Trim tree trimmers and on-track Brushcutters.
