Jackie A. Nesmith

Jackie Nesmith joined Progress Rail Services in May 1997 in his present position, providing leadership to the Locomotive & Railcar Services group. Prior to joining Progress Rail, he held a variety of positions at Eaton Corporation in Arab, Alabama, including plant manager of the Arab, Ala., plant and Hsin Chu, Taiwan plant. He joined Cutler-Hammer as an industrial engineer in 1971 and was named supervisor of industrial engineering two years later. In 1975, he was named controller and became materials manager in 1979.
Jackie holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Management and a certificate in accounting from the University of Alabama.
